Rank for the things people near you actually type.

Nobody searches for your business name unless they already know it. They search for the service plus a place, and they pick from what Google shows them. This is the ongoing work of being one of the things it shows — pages, profile, citations, and the technical detail underneath.

The price

One number, published.

Local SEO

Monthly

$399 /mo

That is the published price for this service. Buy it on its own, or fold it into a monthly plan — plans start at $297 a month and the pricing page builds any combination you like and shows the total before you commit.

What it is

What you are actually buying.

Local search has two surfaces and they are ranked differently. There is the map with its handful of business results, which weighs how relevant you are, how close you are to whoever is searching, and how well known you look across the web. And there are the ordinary blue links underneath, which are won with pages — real ones, about a specific service in a specific place. Most businesses have neither. They have a homepage that says Welcome and lists everything they do in one paragraph.

So the work is unglamorous and it is mostly writing. A page for each service you actually sell, written in the words customers use rather than the words on your invoice. Pages for the towns and neighborhoods you genuinely work in. Your Google profile kept lined up with those pages, your name, address and phone made consistent across the directories that feed the search engines, and the technical parts — schema, titles, internal links, page speed — fixed so nothing you wrote is being wasted.

Two things I will tell you before you buy it. This is slow. The first month is foundation and the compounding shows up later, so if you need the phone to ring this week, put the money into ads instead and come back to this. And proximity is a real ceiling: a searcher standing across town is shown businesses across town. You can win the area you can realistically serve, and nobody honest will promise you a position beyond it.

What is included

Everything in the price.

How it works

What happens after you say yes.

1. I find out what you should rank for

What people in your area type, which of those actually lead to money, and who is currently getting them. Usually a couple of the valuable ones have far less competition than the obvious one everybody chases.

2. I fix the foundation

Profile alignment, citations, schema, titles, speed, and the pages you already have. This is the month with the least to show for it and the most effect on everything after.

3. I build pages every month

Service pages and place pages, on a schedule. One page rarely moves anything. Twelve of them, pointed at things people search, is a different business.

4. You see what moved

A monthly report in plain language: what you rank for now, what changed, what did not, and what I am doing about the ones that did not.

What this normally costs

The comparison, honestly.

An agency build plus a monthly SEO retainer

$1,000+/mo once the build is amortized

The usual shape: a project fee up front, then a retainer that covers the site and the search work together.

Local SEO

$399/mo

One published price, one invoice, and the work is done for you rather than handed to you as software.

Figures are typical market ranges shown for illustration, not quotes from named providers. Many vendors price by seat, contact or location and keep pricing behind a sales call.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long does local SEO take to work?

Months, not weeks, and I would rather say that up front than take the first payment and hope. Cleaning up a profile and fixing obvious technical problems can move things inside a few weeks. Winning a competitive service term takes longer, because you are getting past businesses who started years ago.

What is the difference between this and Top of Google?

Intensity and target. Local SEO is the ongoing groundwork — pages, profile, citations, technical fixes, reported monthly. Top of Google is the premium program built specifically to compete for the map pack: the same foundation, run harder, with review velocity, deeper citation work and a rank grid that shows where you sit across the whole map rather than at your own address. Most businesses should start here.

Do I need a website for local SEO to work?

For the map results you get some distance on the profile alone. For everything else, yes — pages are what rank, and the site is what Google reads to decide what your profile is about. With no site, that is the first purchase, not this one.

Will you promise me the first page?

No. Google's own rules forbid anyone claiming that, and any agency that does either does not know or is counting on you not checking. What I will do is tell you what you currently rank for, what the realistic targets are, and show you monthly whether they are moving.

Can I not just do this myself?

Yes, genuinely. The knowledge is public and none of it is secret. What it costs you is a few hours every week, forever — and owners who stop rarely stop because it was hard, they stop because a busy month came along. At $399/mo you are buying the fact that it happens anyway.

Is there a contract?

Not on this. Growth, marketing and website services — including the website care plan — are month-to-month with no long-term commitment, and you can prepay annually for up to two months free. Payment processing is a separate thing: it is a merchant account and it has its own terms, which I go over with you personally on the free review so everything is clear before you decide.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any month. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period to argue about on the month-to-month services — I would rather earn the next month than hold you to a term you regret. If you cancel a website plan the domain is yours, registered in your name, and you can take the site elsewhere.
